This policy explains how the EVolution hub, a product of Boolean Array Canada, collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use the EVolution Hub, we collect information you directly provide: your name, email address, phone number, and vehicle preferences when submitting lead forms or registering as a dealer. During Early Access / coming-soon, we may collect only your email for the waitlist. Dealer accounts additionally require business name, dealership address, and licensing information.
Automatically Collected Data
We automatically collect usage data including pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser, and IP address. This data helps us improve platform performance and personalize your EV matching experience.
Lease Document Data
When you use the Lease Vision OCR Scanner, uploaded documents are processed temporarily to extract lease terms. We do not permanently store the raw document images after processing is complete.
How We Use Your Information
EV Matching & Recommendations
Your preferences and usage patterns power our AI-driven vehicle matching engine. We use this data to surface relevant EV options, calculate total cost of ownership estimates, and connect you with appropriate dealers.
Dealer Communications
When you submit a lead form, your contact information is shared with the matched dealer(s) you select. Dealers are contractually obligated to use this information only for responding to your inquiry.
Platform Improvement
Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us refine our matching algorithms, improve the Lease Scanner accuracy, and develop new features. Individual data is never sold to third parties.
Transactional Communications
We send service-related emails such as lead confirmations, dealer onboarding updates, and subscription receipts. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
Certified Dealer Network
Consumer lead data (name, contact, vehicle interest) is shared with dealers only upon explicit user action — submitting a lead form. Dealers in our network agree to our data handling standards.
Service Providers
We work with trusted service providers for infrastructure (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and AI processing (Google Gemini). Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and applicable privacy law.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boolean Array Canada, our users, or the public.
Data Retention
Consumer Data
Account preferences, saved activity, and tool history are deleted when you delete your account. Dealer-request records needed for payment, fraud prevention, and audit integrity may be retained without your name, email, phone number, postal code, or contact consent. Copies already sent to an independent dealer or CRM are subject to that recipient’s legal obligations.
Dealer Accounts
Dealer account data is retained for the duration of the active subscription plus 12 months following termination, to satisfy financial record-keeping obligations.
Lease Scan Data
Extracted lease fields are stored in your session only and are not persisted to our database unless you explicitly save a comparison.
Your Rights
Access & Portability
You can download a portable JSON copy of your account data at any time from Account Settings. You may also submit an access request to privacy@theevolutionhub.com.
Correction & Deletion
You may update your information or delete your account through Account Settings. Account-owned data is erased immediately; dealer-request records that must be retained are anonymized. If automated deletion cannot complete, the interface reports the failure and our privacy team can assist.
Canadian Privacy Law (PIPEDA)
As a product of Boolean Array Canada, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Canadian residents have the right to withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time.
GDPR (EU Residents)
EU residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Security
Technical Safeguards
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Our infrastructure uses row-level security policies, and access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Incident Response
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
